Ryan Gustin Melts Down Competitors at I-80 Greenwood, Nebraska (April 3rd, 2015) – Marshalltown, Iowa’s Ryan Gustin scored the opening round win in the annual Spring Meltdown at I-80 Speedway. The $2,000 win came far from easy as Gustin had to outduel standout, Terry Phillips, for the victory in the Lucas Oil MLRA event. The triumph came aboard the Gressel Racing #19R Eibach/Rocket Super Late Model. Ryan now has five wins on the season.
United Crate Racing Association (UCRA) Crate Late Model
UCRA Debut Dominated by Ashley Newman Columbus, Mississippi (March 28th, 2015) – The United Crate Racing Alliance (UCRA) held their inaugural event at Duck River Raceway Park, and Ashley Newman dominated the program for the $2,500 victory. A stout field of 63 entries took part in event, but Newman was head and shoulders above the competition. He set fast time and then led every lap of the feature to score the victory aboard his Upton Motorsports #73 Eibach Springs Crate Late Model.

Ashley Newman Sweeps Golden Egg Classic at Magnolia Columbus, Mississippi (April 4th, 2015) – Ashley Newman enjoyed a stellar outing during the inaugural Golden Egg Classic at Magnolia Motor Speedway. The Ripley, Tennessee driver swept the action on both Friday and Saturday night in his Upton Motorsports #73 Eibach/Bob Pierce Super Late Model. The pair of wins pushed Newman’s 2015 win tally to five.
International Motor Contest Association (IMCA) Modified
Marshalltown Frost Buster Cash Claimed by Todd Shute Marshalltown, Iowa (April 3rd, 2015) – Todd Shute raced to his first victory of the 2015 in his Karl Performance #5 Eibach Modified. The win came at Marshalltown Speedway in the Frost Buster event. The Des Moines, Iowa racer won his heat race from the third starting spot. In the redraw for the feature he pulled the pole and went on to wire the talented field of racers in the finale for the victory.
Pro Late Model Challenge Series
Season Opener Conquered by Willie Allen at Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville, Tennessee (April 4th, 2015) – Willie Allen from Bon Aqua, Tennessee conquered the season opener at the historic Fairgrounds Speedway. Serving as the opener for the 58th year of racing at the ½ mile, paved oval, the facility posted a $5,000 winner’s check for the Pro Late Model Challenge Series. Allen qualified on the pole, and then rocketed to the convincing win in his Eibach #26 APS Solutions Chevrolet.
Bathurst Motor Festival
Rod Salmon Snares Win for Team Audi at Bathurst Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia (April 5th, 2015) – Rod Salmon dominated the competition at the Bathurst Motor Festival at the Mount Panorama Circuit in his Audi R8 LMS Ultra. Across the two rounds of action he was the most successful competitor. The defending champion of the Australian GT Championship Trophy division claimed a win and a second place finish, while also recording the fastest lap of the competition.
