Shea Holbrook Tops Touring Car A Action in New Jersey Millville, NJ (May 31, 2014) – The Pirelli World Challenge rolled into New Jersey Motorsports Park and Shea Holbrook from Groveland, Florida took her second win of the season in Touring Car A. She started on the pole and ran in the second spot during the first half of the event before storming to the lead on lap 16 in her Eibach Springs/ Hendrick Honda Civic Si. Once out front she drove away from the field to win by over six seconds for her third career triumph with the series.
Dean Martin Doubles His Pleasure in Detroit Pirelli World Challenge Detroit, MI (June 1, 2014) – Two days of Cadillac V-Series Challenge presented by the Metro Detroit Cadillac Dealers action in the Pirelli World Challenge Series at Belle Isle Park found Dean Martin scoring mirror-image wins in the GTS division in his # 50 Picture Cars East/Eibach/Rehagen Racing Ford Mustang Boss 302S. Both days found the Westland, Michigan driver qualifying on the Motul pole before leading every lap to score his first and second victories of the season. The victories also improved his winning percentage as he now holds three triumphs in four events at the facility in the past two years.
United States Modified Touring Series
Zack VanderBeek Wires USMTS Foes at Buena Vista Alta, IA (May 23, 2014) – Zack VanderBeek has been flirting with victory lane several times this year with the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS), only to fall short of the mark – but not this time. At Buena Vista Raceway, the New Sharon, Iowa driver motored to the top spot from the pole position at the drop of the green flag and went on to lead every lap en route to his first victory of the year in his Eibach Springs #33z LG2 Modified. The triumph was worth $2,000.
International Motor Contest Association (IMCA) Modified
Riley Simmons Gets First Win of ’14 at Siskiyou Yreka, CA (May 24, 2014) – Riley Simmons piloted his #21 Eibach Springs entry to his first feature win of the season at Siskiyou Motor Speedway in International Motor Contest Association (IMCA) Modified competition.
IMCA Deery Brothers Late Model Series
Ray Guss Jr. Saves the Best for Last Boone, IA (May 26, 2014) – Ray Guss Jr. may have only led a couple of laps at Boone Speedway, but in the end it was the most important ones as he crossed the finish line first to register a $3,000 victory. After a late-race battle between the pair, Guss Jr. overtook race-long leader Jason Rauen for good on the white flag lap, and went on to take the IMCA Deery Brothers Late Model Series victory for his second triumph of 2014 in his Eibach Springs #58 Barry Wright Super Late Model.
International Motor Contest Association (IMCA) SportMods
Ben Kates Remains Dominant in IMCA SportMod Action Boone, IA (May 31, 2014) – Ben Kates has been absolutely unstoppable in his Eibach Springs #23k Kates Motorsports/Harris Sport Mod. His latest victories were at the Iowa State Fairgrounds and Boone Speedway during back-to-back events, and with these wins, his 2014 tally goes up to nine total.
Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series
RJ Anderson Shines Under the Lights in the Wild West Sparks, NV (May 31, 2014) – As the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) made history by battling under the lights for the first time ever at the Wild West Motorsports Park, it was RJ Anderson who added his name to the history books by topping the Pro Lite Unlimited ranks. While Brian Deegan snagged the early advantage in the finale, Anderson was able to pressure the leader for the top spot before powering his #37 LoanMart/South Point Nissan into the lead on lap 15. Late in the race Anderson would have to fend away several advances from Deegan but would be successful in his efforts as another Eibach customer to score a weekend victory.
French GT Championship
Team Audi Dominant in France Lédenon, France (May 31, 2014) – Audi customer teams utilized Eibach products to propel them to a successful second race weekend in the French GT Championship with a sweep of the top two spots on the podium. At Lédenon, France Roland Berville and Anthony Beltoise in the Audi R8 LMS ultra of the Sébastien Loeb Racing team scored the victory in the second heat. When a time penalty was retroactively imposed on a competitor team, David Hallyday and Grégory Guilvert in the Audi R8 LMS ultra of Saintéloc Racing advanced to second place and made for an Audi one-two sweep. After two of seven weekends, Hallyday and Guilvert are currently second in the championship standings.
Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series
Brian Deegan Enjoys Dominant Weekend in Pro 2 Unlimited Competition Sparks, NV (June 1, 2014) – Brian Deegan didn’t do his Pro 2 Unlimited foes any favors over the weekend by dominating both rounds of Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) competition at Wild West Motorsports Park. Marking the fifth time in five events that he qualified fastest in the field, Deegan started on the front for both events in his #38 Rockstar Energy Drink/Makita Power Tools Ford. While chaos ensued behind him in each round, Brian drove away from the field to score both wins, which pushed his 2014 win tally to three. On the heels of his great performance over the course of the weekend he further extended his advantage atop the Pro 2 Unlimited standings.
