Don O’Neal Tops Manufacturer’s Dash at 22nd Annual Show Me 100 Wheatland, MO (May 23, 2014) – As a part of the 22nd Annual Show Me 100 at Lucas Oil Speedway, the Hot Rod Tracker Chassis Manufacturers’ Dash, which pitted the top qualifier from each chassis brand represented against one another in a ten lap race. Don O’Neal powered to the $1,000 win in his #5 Clint Bowyer Racing /Barry Wright/Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model.

Don O’Neal Finally Snares a Show Me 100 Title Wheatland, MO (May 24, 2014) – It took sixteen starts in the coveted event to make his dream a reality, but Martinsville, Indiana’s Don O’Neal finally sealed the deal. He charged to the $30,000 win in the 22nd Annual Show Me 100 at Lucas Oil Speedway overcoming a field of 65 weekend entrants, and a wild 100 lap finale that saw five different leaders. O’Neal took possession of the lead for good on lap 65 en route to the victory in the crown jewel event in his Eibach Springs #5 Clint Bowyer Racing Super Late Model. The triumph marked his third of the 2014 campaign.

United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS)
Late Race Heroics Nets Brandon Davis III USMTS Win at Chateau Raceway Lansing, MN (May 23, 2014) – Medford, Minnesota’s Brandon Davis III has been masterful in United States Modified Touring Series competition at Chateau Raceway over the past several seasons, and he continued his tendencies with a $2,000 win. Clayton Wagamon paced the field during the first half of the event as fourth starting Davis III began to come to life. By lap 30 Brandon was pressuring the leader. The duo swapped the top spot multiple times over the closing laps with Davis III putting his #50iii GRT/Eibach entry at the front for good on lap 39 of the 40 lapper. The win was his third in five years with the tour at the facility.

Johnny Scott Back in Victory Lane with Upper Iowa Victory Decorah, IA (May 25, 2014) – Las Cruces, New Mexico’s Johnny Scott visited victory lane for the fourth time in 2014 with a triumph in United States Modified Touring Series action at Upper Iowa Speedway. Scott, who started third on the grid, overtook race-long leader, Kelly Shryock on lap 37 of the 40 lapper. He went on to lead the final four laps en route to the $2,000 win in his Eibach Springs #1s Ramirez/Pro Power Racing Modified.

Buzzy Adams Claims First Time Win at Red Cedar Speedway Menomonie, WI (May 23, 2014) – Not many tracks in the upper Midwest can say that they haven’t seen Kevin “Buzzy” Adams in victory lane, and prior to Friday night, Red Cedar Speedway was one of them. However, by the time the checkered flag dropped later that night history had been made as Adams parked his Eibach #40 LG2 Modified in victory lane after a flag-to-flag win. The victory was his fourth of 2014. 

International Motor Contest Association (IMCA) SportMods
Ben Kates Bags Sixth Win of 2014 with Buena Vista Triumph Alta, IA (May 21, 2014) – It was back to Buena Vista Speedway for Ben Kates, where he picked up his sixth win of the 2014 season in convincing fashion. Ben locked into the fourth starting spot on the grid for the feature via a second place finish in heat race action. In the feature Ben assumed the point on lap two, and despite several charges from Tim Rupp and Logan Scott he held on for the victory in his Eibach Springs #23k Kates Motorsports/Harris Sport Mod.

Jenae Gustin Charges Through Field for Independence Checkers Independence, IA (May 24, 2014) – Anyone who discounted Jenae Gustin having a chance of winning at Independence Motor Speedway based upon her starting spot made a very bad assumption. She marched forward from the fifteenth position to score the International Motor Contest Association SportMods feature win in her #19j Eibach Springs entry.

Richie Gustin Dominates Modified Action at I-35 Mason City, IA (May 25, 2014) – Gilman, Iowa’s Richie Gustin dominated a stout field of 25 International Motor Contest Association Modifieds to score yet another feature win on Sunday night. Gustin started the night by winning his heat race from the third starting spot to earn the pole for the feature. The main event found Richie winning the field.

Zhang Zhen Dong Tops CTCC Competition at Shanghai Shanghai, China (May 25, 2014) – Zhang Zhen Dong won the third round of the 2014 China Touring Car Championships at the Shanghai International Circuit, with his teammate Wang Rui finishing second and the Ford Focus of Martin Xie third. Zhang took the lead at the drop of the green flag in his Shanghai VW 333. He went on to lead every lap on his way to the victory at his home track.
