Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series
Moyer and Francis Lead Eibach Sweep of Top Two Spots at East Bay Gibsonton, FL (February 13, 2014) – In an epic showdown between two racing veterans on Tuesday night, it was Billy Moyer, who edged fellow Eibach client, Steve Francis to score the $5,000 victory in Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) competition at East Bay Raceway Park. With 47 entries in the pits, Francis won his heat race to earn the pole position for the 25-lap finale; he paced the first half of the event, while Moyer, who started fourth, worked his way into the second position just past the midway point. Over the closing laps Moyer erased Francis’ lead, and after a side-by-side battle took over the top spot with just four laps remaining. The Batesville, Arkansas-based pilot then went on to lead the final four laps en route to his 777th career triumph and second of the 2014 campaign in his #21 Henderson Motorsports/Moyer Xtreme by Longhorn/Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model. Francis finished a close second to complete the Eibach sweep of the top two positions on the podium.

Baytown, TX (February 13, 2014) - Chris Brown kicked off the 5th Annual USMTS Spring Nationals at Royal Purple Raceway on Thursday night with a victory in his first event of the 2014 season. Chris won his qualifying heat race in his #21 Lone Star Hydro & Maintenance/LG2 Open Wheel Modified, which locked him into a sixth place starting spot for the 30-lap feature. Brown worked his way up to third by lap ten, and made the pass on Fito Gallardo for the second spot just three laps later as he began to reel in the leader. With ten laps to go, Brown caught up with race leader Stormy Scott and the two waged a side-by-side battle with each passing lap. When the white flag flew, Brown edged to the lead entering turn one, while Scott got a strong run down the back-stretch to pull even with Brown heading into the final turn. At the finish line it was Chris Brown scoring his eighth career USMTS victory.

The ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards program was highlighted by a havoc-filled, 80-lap race at the historic 2.5-mile oval. Enfinger started second on the grid for the event in his #90 Motor Honey/Casite/Advance Auto Parts Ford, and he would run in the top five early on before taking the lead briefly on two separate occasions during the race’s mid-stages. Powering past Dylan Kwasniewski to take the lead for good on lap 52, Grant cruised the final 28 laps to victory, which was his third in the last 21 ARCA Racing Series events.

Ben Kates Conquers IMCA SportMod Competitors at Cocopah Again Yuma, AZ (February 15, 2014) – Tonganoxie, Kansas-based racer, Ben Kates raced to his second victory of the 2014 season as he conquered the feature event on Saturday night during the IMCA Winter Nationals at Cocopah Speedway. While his night ended in victory lane, it would be far from easy for the pilot of the #23k/Rivers Edge Scrap Management/Eibach Springs entry. Heat race action left him starting 8th on the grid for the feature, and at the drop of the green flag he began motoring forward. In the late stages of the event he jumped into the top spot and never looked back on his way to the win.

Billy Moyer Back in East Bay Victory Lane with $10,000 Triumph Gibsonton, FL (February 14, 2014) – After seeing a win escape his grasp in front of a live television audience on Thursday evening, Billy Moyer triumphantly returned to victory lane on Friday night at East Bay Raceway Park with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. Moyer and John Blankenship occupied the front row for the 50-lap finale, and it was Moyer who snagged the lead at the drop of the green flag. He would relinquish the lead on lap 8 as Blankenship shot into the top spot. However, the Eibach customer would be far from done as he stalked Blankenship during the race’s mid-stages. Late in the race the duo began to wage war for the top spot before Moyer took over the top spot for good on lap 43 and went on to win by almost a full straightaway. The victory was the third of the season for the Eibach customer and his Winter Nationals leading 23rd triumph.

Chris Brown Back in Royal Purple Raceway Victory Lane Baytown, TX (February 14, 2014) - Chris Brown returned to Royal Purple Raceway on Friday night for round #2 of the 5th Annual USMTS Texas Spring Nationals and claimed his second victory during his second event of the season. Much like the previous night, Brown had to claw his way to the front during the 40-lap feature event that boasted a $3,000 top prize. Chris rolled off from the tenth starting position and quickly began his charge to the front when the field took the green. Brown began to apply pressure to early race leader Dereck Ramirez as the field saw they halfway signal. The caution flag came out on lap 22 for a multi-car tangle, giving Brown the opportunity he needed to make the pass for the lead just two circuits later. Chris led the remaining 16 laps for his fifth career USMTS victory.
