United States Modified Touring Series
Jason Krohn Tops USMTS Foes in 2014 Lid Lifter Corpus Christi, TX (February 8th, 2014) – Eibach client, Jason Krohn from Slayton, Minnesota wasted little time adding his name into the win column on the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) for the 2014 season as he claimed the win in the season opener on Saturday night at South Texas Speedway (Corpus Christi, Texas). The $3,000-to-win, opening round of the 2nd Annual Sparkling City Nationals found thirty-seven entries registering for action, and a third to first charge in his heat race sent Jason to the redraw for the feature, where he was the recipient of the sixth starting spot for the 40 lap finale. By lap 15 of the main event Krohn already found himself in the second position, and six laps later on a restart he rocketed past leader, Steve Whiteaker Jr. to take the lead. The 2007 USMTS Champion went on to lead the remaining laps to score his first victory of the season in his #7k MB Customs/Sput’s Racing Engine entry.

Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series
Steve Francis Claims Coveted Super Bowl Title at Golden Isles Brunswick, GA (February 8th, 2014) – Ashland, Kentucky’s Steve Francis blistered the competition in Australia to start the year by claiming several wins down under, but on Saturday night at Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Georgia) he scored his first victory of the 2014 campaign on American soil. The $10,000-to-win finale for the Super Bowl of Racing, which was sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) found an extremely talented field of thirty-four entries setting their sights on the big win. Francis started his night by powering to the win in his heat race to earn the pole position for the 50 lap finale at the lightning-fast, 4/10 mile oval. He was joined on the front row for the feature by Eddie Carrier Jr., and at the drop of the green flag Francis put his #15 Georgia Boot/Barry Wright/Clement Racing Engine Super Late Model at the front of the pack. Despite several solid challenges throughout the main event Steve Francis led every lap to put Eibach Springs in victory lane for the first time in the 2014 campaign on the LOLMDS trail.

EIBACH-THE WILL TO WIN - 02.18.2014King of the Hammers
Lovell Brothers Racing Register Class Win at King of the Hammers Johnson Valley, CA (February 7th, 2014) – Lovell Brothers Racing with Brad and Roger Lovell overcame adversity at every possible turn to emerge triumphant in the Legends division in the King of the Hammers (Johnson Valley, California). The grueling 114 mile EMC race found the team passing 39 trucks in the first 46 miles of the rigorous course. The Lovell’s quickly found themselves holding the top spot, based on time, and looked to contend for not only the division title but also the overall title. However, bad luck struck soon in the form of a rollover that left the truck with a flat tire, a cracked axle, and a broken sway bar, which culminated to eliminate any chance of an overall title. The team quickly repaired the damage, and despite a pair of additional flat tires the Lovell’s persevered to limp their entry home to the finish line, where they claimed the Legends class victory.
